Maintenance and improvement of EN 12354 "Building Acoustics Prediction Models"

The purpose of this site is to gather information and to spread information about:
  • the present content of the EN 12354 standards (FAQ)
  • the activities to gather indications about the prediction accuracy in various situations
  • the activities to gather relevant examples of input data for the models
  • the needs to improve and extend the standards

On the first item (FAQ) a reaction to questions and remarks will at least be given - as far as possible – by the convenor of the responsible working group CEN/TC126/WG2. But this is no restriction and clearly everybody can react and respond.

For the other items a short introduction is given about the intentions. These are mainly aimed at promoting and encouraging research to improve the future new versions of the standards and to give information what is going on elsewhere.
