  3. Greetings from ASA TCMA (James P. Cottingham)
    • There is a list of musical acousticians on the ASA webpage – check whether you are on it correctly!
  4. Report about UK MA network http://www.ph.ed.ac.uk/acoustics/MAN/MAN.html by Murray Campbell. There are funding possibilities for exchange of graduate students! The link will be put on the EAA website.
  5. Report about ViennaTalk2500 http://www.bias.at/ViennaTalk2005 by Matthias Bertsch. European collaboration proposals presented there will be put on the EAA website using the new specialised workgroup pages.

  8. Working Groups
    are to be established by interested members. Look at the TC-RBA as a reference http://www.eaa-fenestra.org/TCs/RBA. Interested co-ordinators are to contact Malte Kob (eaa-fenestra@euracoustics.org) to get access rights for their work group area at the EAA website. They and other members of a work group can publish there news, follow ups, downloadable files,… like in a forum. Global news on the front page of the EAA site can be sent to Malte Kob by e-mail. Proposed work groups to start with are:
    • Education: List of all studies, courses
    • Funding: Observe EU-Calls and comment on applicable funding instruments. Collect links to relevant EU documents and reference projects. Publish experiences with European funding
    • Musical Synthesis and Modelling – Wind instruments (ARTLIB proposal by Wilfried Kausel), Singing Voice (a similar proposal by Malte Kob)
    • Historic Instruments
  9. Next Meeting most probably at ISMA in Barcelona!
  10. Acoustic dictionary on EAA website: Links to WikiPedia should be added and corresponding WikiPedia entries should be created/checked/updated by the EAA community.
  11. Literature database at www.bias.at can be used as a starting point for a growing database on the EAA website which can be maintained and extended by the EAA TC-MA members in the future.
