Research Assistant in Music Acoustics

At the University of Music Detmold the position of a research assistant is available from September 3rd, 2012. The position can be full or 3/4 if desired and is payed according to EG 13 TV-L.

Tasks:
- Support in teaching acoustics and electrical engineering within the B.Mu. "Musikübertragung" and M.Sc. "Music Acoustics"
- Acquisition of and participation in research projects at the Erich-Thienhaus-Institute.

Requirements:
- University studies (master or diploma) in the fields of electrical engineering, Diplom-Tonmeister or a related
- Diploma/Master thesis in the field of acoustics, audio technique, or audio communication
- good knowledge of current studio technique
- disposition to perform scientific work with the aim of a Ph.D.
- teaching at the University of Music Detmold
