The EAA EUROREGIO 2010 Congress is organized under the auspices of the European Acoustics Association (EAA), Alps-Adria Acoustics Association (AAAA), Slovenian Acoustical Society (SDA), Austrian Acoustics Association (AAA), Acoustical Society of Croatia (HAD), International Commission for Acoustics (ICA) and in cooperation with the Slovenian Society of Audio Engineering (SSAE), Slovenian Society for Non-Destructive Testing (SSNDT). A special feature of the EAA EUROREGIO is an integrated summer school for young researchers entitled "First Forum of Young Researchers in Acoustics”. It will be held prior to the congress at the same place as the Congress. Participants and young researchers attending lectures and the structured sessions connected with the topics of the summer school will receive a certificate with 2.0 ECTS credits. The EAA will also promote active participation of young researchers and students at the EAA EUROREGIO 2010 with grants and best paper awards. CONGRESS PROGRAM

The Congress program will involve plenary meeting, keynote lectures, invited and contributed papers in lecture and poster form. Contributed papers covering theoretical and experimental research as well as technology application in all areas of acoustics, noise and vibration will be accepted for presentation at the congress.

SCIENTIFIC PROGRAMME

Generation and Radiation of Airborne Noise, Vibration and Structure Borne Noise, Active and Passive Noise and Vibration Control, Room and Building Acoustics, Ultrasound and Infrasound, Underwater Acoustics, Electro-Acoustics and Instrumentation, Musical Acoustics, Community, Workplace and Occupational Noise, Psycho-Physiological Effects of Noise and Vibration, Measurement Techniques and Signal Processing and Analysis, Numerical Modelling and Computation in Acoustics (FEM/BEM, SEA, MA), Condition Monitoring

IMPORTANT DATES

  • 31 March 2010: Submission of abstracts

  • 15 April 2010: Notification of abstracts acceptance

  • 30 June 2010: Receipt of paper.

Participants will be accommodated in one of the Hotels (with 3 to 5 stars) in walking distance from the Conference venue. Hotel rooms have modern conveniences and are available from 80 to 160 € per night.
